Richard d’Apice AM
KCSG LLB FSAG was elected to the position of President in 2003.
He is a senior partner with the law firm of Makinson and d’Apice
and acts as Solicitor and/or Honorary
Advisor to numerous ecclesiastical, charitable, and heritage bodies.
He has served in various offices in such organisations as the Society
of Australian Genealogists and the Royal Australian Historical Society.
He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 1997.

Bruce Baskerville BA(Hons)
DipFHS FFAHS APHA is a historian with an interest in Australian,
especially Westralian heraldry and the emblematic uses of the black
swan. Bruce is also interested in the historical development of
official heraldry across Australia and South East Asia, and the
'fusion' heraldry of people and families of creole or mixed heritage.
He enjoys the arcane language of blazoning for its own sake.

Rev'd John Cohen MTS
MA PhD FTCL FRSA FACE FSA Scot is a priest in the Anglican
Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn, and has taught in schools, colleges
and universities in both Australia and North America for over forty
years. John has a keen interest in ecclesiastic and academic heraldry
and also new interests in medieval heraldry relating to England
and Scotland.

James Francis Gaetani
is an undergraduate student at the Australian National University,
studying for his Bachelor of Arts (European Studies) and Bachelor
of Laws. His heraldic interests include Italian and ecclesiastical
heraldry, and the use of exotic fauna in heraldic design.

Leon Lindley

was elected to the office 2010. He has had an interest in
heraldry since his childhood. His particular focus is heraldic artwork
and collecting heraldic bookplates and books. Leon holds a grant
of arms from the English Kings of Arms.

long-time genealogist whose principal interest is English and German
heraldry. The arms which Jeff Poole makes use of date back to 1590
and are of German origin.

Professor Christopher
Puplick AM BA(Hons) MA JP has a major interest in the
arts and is the Chairman of the National Film and Sound Archives
of Australia; a member of the Theatre Board of the Australia Council
and of the Board of the National Institute of Dramatic Arts. He
served as a Senator for New South Wales in the Commonwealth Parliament
and was Shadow Minister for the Environment, Arts and Heritage.
Chris is a historian with an active interest in heraldry in Australia.

BA(Hons) GradDipInfoMan was elected in 2007. David, a librarian,
has a love of books and heraldry in print. He is specifically interested
in the heraldry of members of chivalric orders and their chapels,
as well as Canadian and Scandinavian heraldry.

since 2000. Stephen has a particular interest in 19th century
use and display of arms in Australia.

previously served as Vice President (ACT). Chris is interested in
Scottish heraldry and in particular heraldry of the Lindsays. He
is a Board member of the Clan Lindsay Society of Australia and past
Secretary of the International Association of Amateur Heralds.
